the many elements and dimensions of our lives ...
Likewise, Oxford has evolved through over 1000 years of
documented habitation. For much of that time it has also
been a centre of learning and excellence. It has educated
national leaders (of the UK and abroad). Oxford shines
in the reflected glory of the achievements of those who
have past through. It has also been the site of dark and
violent moments.
Here the city centre and the pinnacles of scientific and
other intellectual excellent are but a short walk from
the peace of botanical gardens and the quietness calm meadows,
and various of waterways - both busy and tranquil. |
